Dr. Glenn Vitale is a native of the New Haven area of Connecticut. He earned a BA in Biology from Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland. He completed his 2-year surgical training at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and the West Haven VA Medical Center in Connecticut.
Dr. Vitale is board-certified through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery as a Diplomat and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is an attending surgeon at Yale New Haven Hospital, Mid State Hospital, Hospital of St. Raphaels, Milford Hospital, and the North East Alliance Surgi-Center, training surgical residents.
Dr. Vitale started practice in 1984, joining his father in developing multi-office settings, in association with the Yale New Haven Community Medical Group. The practice treats all multifocal diseases and conditions in the foot and ankle with exceptional and personal care to patients of all ages, using conservative and surgical means. He is an advocate of conservative treatment for his patients first, and using surgical approaches as a last resort. His specialty is surgical reconstruction of arthritic joint disease of the forefoot, preserving motion rather than fusion arthrodesis.
Aaron Shemenski, DPM, FACFAS
Board certified in foot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery, Aaron Shemenski, DPM, FACFAS, has successfully performed over 5,000 foot and ankle procedures. He is currently accepting new patients at Rhode Island Foot Care’s locations in Pawtucket, RI and Taunton, MA.
Dr. Shemenski received a bachelor of science degree from York College of Pennsylvania and Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University. During his three-year advanced podiatric medicine and surgery residency at Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket, RI. He ultimately served as the chief surgical resident and continues to be active in resident education. In addition to general foot and ankle surgery, he also performs advanced reconstructive and limb salvage surgery. Certified in ankle arthroscopy and external fixation techniques, Dr. Shemenski had the opportunity to train at the Russian Ilizarov Center for Restorative Trauma, an 800-bed orthopedic hospital located in southern Siberia. He has lectured on foot and ankle pathologies both nationally and internationally. His interests include the management of all foot and ankle pathology, including heel pain, bunions, and hammertoes, sports medicine, as well as diabetic foot and limb salvage with the treatment of wounds and infections.
He continues to be active in education, recently receiving centurion certification for completing over one hundred Lapiplasty procedures. Dr. Shemenski is an avid pilot and enjoys golfing, skiing, and spending time with his wife and daughter. He promotes health and fitness through Burn Boot Camp and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Stephen Arndt, M.D.
Dr. Stephen Arndt is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in complex conditions of the foot and ankle both surgically and non-surgically. He focuses on an array of issues and has a special interest in total ankle replacements, ankle arthroscopies, ankle and hind foot reconstruction, various forefoot procedures and complex wound care management. Dr. Arndt has participated in many research studies and published multiple corresponding articles.
Dr. Arndt received his undergraduate degree in Physics with a minor in Chemistry and Mathematics from Wake Forest University, where he was awarded Magna Cum Laude for his studies. He attended medical school at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine and completed his fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic.
As a current member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Florida Orthopaedic Society, Northeast Florida Orthopaedic Society and American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, Dr. Arndt is well-versed in the needs of his foot and ankle patients. He strives to not only provide 5-star orthopedic care, but to also understand his patient and the corresponding impact their orthopedic injury can have on their life.
Ebonie Vincent, DPM, MBMS
Dr. Vincent is a native of Temecula, CA. Dr. Vincent completed her undergraduate education at Hampton University in VA, her Master of Biomedical Science at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, and completed her Doctor of Podiatric medicine degree at Des Moines University in Des Moines, IA. She went on to complete a 3-year residency program at Inspira Health network in Vineland, NJ.
Dr. Vincent trained under top orthopedic and podiatric physicians in advanced treatments for children and adults with upper and lower limb length discrepancies, limb deformities, non-unions, bone defects, bone infections, joint contractures, foot deformities and shot stature at The Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics International Center for Limb Lengthening in Baltimore, MD. She specializes in minimally invasive surgical techniques, corrective and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, diabetic limb salvage, pediatric foot condition, and sports medicine.
Known for her appearances on the hit TLC TV Series, “My Feet Are Killing Me,” Dr. Vincent has been featured on E! Daily Pop, Dr. Oz, Daily Mail, NBC, ABC, Fox, and the Tamron Hall Show where she shares the advancements in foot care and surgical technology for the treatment of foot and ankle conditions.
Kyle Vaughn, DPM
As founder of Paradise Valley Foot & Ankle, Dr. Kyle Vaughn is committed to delivering exceptional care to patients of all ages. Dr. Vaughn is Board Certified by the American Board of
Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is Board Certified in Foot Surgery as well as Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Vaughn specializes in complex reconstruction of the foot and ankle, adult and pediatric flatfoot reconstruction, revision reconstructive surgery, adult and juvenile bunion correction, and management of lower extremity trauma in adults and children.
Dr. Vaughn completed his surgical training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, a level one trauma center, in Boston, MA where he served as chief resident. While in Boston, Dr. Vaughn held an appointment of Clinical Fellow in Surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Vaughn received his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Vaughn believes in treating his patients conservatively yet is well versed in the most effective surgical techniques modern medicine has to offer. Dr. Vaughn is an expert in both forefoot and rearfoot ankle reconstruction as well as non-invasive treatments of the lower extremity.
William Sarchino, DPM
Dr. William Sarchino attended Ladycliff College, New York, for undergraduate school and the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgeons, and Wound Care Certified (CMET).
Dr. Sarchino has been practicing since 1987 and specializes in pediatric flat foot reconstruction, diabetic charcot foot reconstruction, diabetic wound care, and diseases of the foot and ankle. He completed a fellowship in foot deformity correction at Saint Anthony’s Hospital in Chicago. He is also a Fellow in the Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing, a Fellow in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, and the current President of the American College of Lower Extremity Surgeons.
Dr. Sarchino has offices in New York and Vermont and he practices out of the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, an affiliate of Dartmouth Health.
Jordan Meyers, DPM
Dr. Jordan Meyers was born in Arizona and raised in North Carolina. After graduating from East Carolina University with degrees in both Athletic Training and Chemistry, he earned his medical degree at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Meyers completed his surgical training in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the University of Louisville Hospital and KentuckyOne Health in Kentucky. He is board certified with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is on the active medical staff at Duke Raleigh Hospital.
Dr. Meyers is actively involved in the community with Alliance Medical Ministry and Project Homeless Connect. He holds membership with the American Podiatric Medical Association, the North Carolina Foot and Ankle Society, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
